Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neuro Trauma/Surgical ICU (NTICU) position requiring a CA RN license, at least 5 years of acute critical care experience, and prior travel nursing experience for a night shift assignment.

• Active CA RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 5 years of acute critical care experience
• Level II Trauma critical care experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required

• 12-bed Neuro Trauma/Surgical ICU (NT/SICU) unit in a Level II Trauma hospital
• Specializes in neuro and trauma patients, including care for patients with ICP monitors, CRRT, and lumbar drains
• Patient ratio of 2:1
• Night shift (NOC), 12-hour shifts with a 1900 start time
• 13-week assignment
• Float to Cardiovascular, Telemetry Care, ICU/CCU, or Med/Surg units as needed
• Epic EMR used
• Provides critical care to neuro and trauma patients, including management of ICP monitors, CRRT, and lumbar drains
• Must be a W-2 employee of their staffing agency — 1099 or independently contracted candidates are not eligible
