Registered Nurse; RN - PACU

Registered Nurse – Peri-Anesthesia

Schedule:

10-hour shift length, varied start times, includes weekend coverage

Assignment Details:
Contract length: 13 weeks Guaranteed hours: 40

Requirements:

• Current licensure with the state Board of Registered Nursing
• Current BLS Certification
• EPIC EMR experience
• Experience in both pre-op and post-op for surgery patients
• Experience in occasional pre-op of GI patients

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care for patients before and after surgical procedures.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and recovery progress.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare patients for surgery by explaining procedures and answering questions.
• Administer medications and other interventions as prescribed.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and documentation standards.

Compliance / Notes:

• Scrubs provided.
• Med/Surg and Critical Care RN positions are required to float as needed.
