Peri-Anesthesia Registered Nurse
This is a contract position with a duration of approximately 13 weeks.
This position operates on a 10-hour shift length with varied start times, including weekend coverage.
We are seeking a skilled Peri-Anesthesia Registered Nurse to provide care for both Pre-Op and Post-Op surgical patients, as well as occasional Pre-Op care for GI patients. The ideal candidate will possess current BLS certification and have experience with EPIC EMR. This position primarily focuses on weekend coverage.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Pre-Op and Post-Op nursing care for surgical patients.
- Support the Pre-Op process for GI patients as needed.
- Work collaboratively with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Utilize EPIC EMR for patient documentation and care management.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing.
- Current BLS certification.
- EPIC EMR experience.
Desired
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Peri-Anesthesia nurse (CPAN) and/or Certified Ambulatory Peri-Anesthesia (CAPA).
- Successful completion of prior Travel Assignments.
