- Weekly Pay: $3200 to $3400
- Provide comprehensive nursing care before, during, and after endoscopic procedures
- Perform patient assessments, review medical history, allergies, medications, and obtain informed consent documentation
- Prepare patients for diagnostic and therapeutic gastrointestinal procedures including colonoscopy, upper endoscopy (EGD), bronchoscopy, and related procedures
- Administer IV medications, moderate sedation, and monitor patients throughout procedures
- Continuously assess patient vital signs, oxygen saturation, cardiac rhythm, and overall condition
- Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures by anticipating equipment and patient care needs
- Ensure proper cleaning, handling, and preparation of endoscopic equipment according to infection prevention guidelines
- Provide post-procedure recovery care, patient education, and discharge instructions
- Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, surgical technicians, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Follow infection prevention standards, patient safety protocols, and facility policies
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Minimum 2 years of recent Endoscopy or GI Procedure nursing experience
- Current BLS Certification required
- Current ACLS Certification required
- Moderate Sedation experience required
- Experience with pre-op, intra-procedure, and recovery patient care
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred
- Knowledge of endoscopy equipment reprocessing and infection prevention practices preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced procedural environment
