Compensation range: $51.76 - $69.88 (hourly). Pay based on applicable experience.

Schedule

Shift: Days, 8 hours, pay period 80 hours. Days off:
Fixed – Saturday & Sunday.

Position Summary

The Structural Heart Coordinator is a licensed professional who will work in a multidisciplinary environment requiring exceptional interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing point‑of‑service care for Cardiac Cath Lab and Structural Heart customers and guests.
  • Managing incoming calls, scheduling, and attending meetings.
  • Supporting the needs of leadership and facilitating coordination of services/systems for an organized multidisciplinary team approach to evaluation, treatment, and follow‑up of patients undergoing structural heart procedures (TAVR, Watchman, Mitra‑Clip, and upcoming new procedures).
  • Providing patient care in accordance with the standards, policies, and practices of Enloe Health.
  • Supporting data collection functions and operations in the Cardiac Cath Lab and Structural Heart Program; collecting TVT, STS, and relevant registry data; creating, managing schedules, retrieving data, and submitting reports on time.
  • Maintaining month‑end data processes to ensure integrity of Cardiac reports and statistics.
  • Creating, updating, and maintaining quality indicator dashboards for use in the Cath Lab and Structural Heart Program to enhance decision‑making and troubleshooting.
Education / Training / Experience
  • Minimum:
    Experience with software programs such as Microsoft Office, Adobe, etc.
  • Desired:
    Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, nursing, or healthcare administration; medical terminology; two years of cardiology, telemetry, or ICU experience; clinical experience with percutaneous valve procedure patients.
Licenses / Certifications
  • Minimum:
    Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing.
  • Minimum:
    Current BLS certification; ACLS within six months of hire.
  • Desired: ACLS certification;
    Cardiac Nursing Certification.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
  • Strong skills in confidentiality, integrity, creativity, and initiative.
  • Ability to interact with a wide variety of individuals and families and handle confidential situations during crisis.
  • Self‑motivated, flexible, detail oriented; able to work with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Skilled in collection and analysis of data, assessment of data integrity, and evaluation for statistical significance.
  • Technical competence and professional clinical judgment.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Thorough knowledge of hospital quality management operations.
  • Ability to analyze complex information systems and process descriptions, exercise judgment to define and correct system problems.
  • Organizational and multi‑tasking skills for a complex, fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to manage complex projects simultaneously.
