Peri-Anesthesia RN Summary
Facility/Unit:
- Level II Trauma Center.
- Provides pre-operative and post-operative care for surgical patients.
- May occasionally provide pre-operative care for GI patients
. - Position is primarily focused on weekend coverage
. - Scrubs are provided.
Responsibilities:
- Provide pre-op and post-op nursing care for surgical patients.
- Perform occasional pre-op assessments and care for GI procedures.
- Document patient care using the EPIC EMR
.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current California RN license
. - Current CPR/BLS certification
. - Previous EPIC EMR experience
.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPAN (Certified Post-Anesthesia Nurse) certification and/or CAPA (Certified Ambulatory Peri-Anesthesia Nurse) certification.
- Successful completion of previous travel nursing assignments
.
