Registered Nurse - Pre-Op and Post-Op Surgery
This is a 13-week contract position.
10-hour shift length, varied start time, includes weekend coverage.
Join a Level II Trauma center, skilled in managing both Pre-Op and Post-Op care for surgery patients, as well as Pre-Op for GI patients. We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for weekend coverage, making a significant impact on patient care during critical surgical processes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Pre-Op and Post-Op care for surgical patients.
- Assist with Pre-Op evaluations for GI patients as needed.
- Utilize EPIC EMR for patient documentation and management.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience with EPIC EMR.
Desired
Qualifications:
- Certified Peri-Anesthesia nurse (CPAN) and/or Certified Ambulatory Peri-Anesthesia (CAPA) preferred.
- Successful completion of prior travel assignments.
