Compensation

ENL Perianesthesia compensation range: $55.93 - $79.75 per hour. Pay is based on applicable experience.

Position Summary

The Registered Nurse is a licensed professional who provides patient care in accordance with the standards, policies, and practices of Enloe Medical Center. The Registered Nurse prioritizes patient needs, coordinates patient care, and collaborates with other members of the patient care team to provide care in accordance with the medical plan of care.

Education, Training & Experience
  • Minimum: 18 months current or recent critical care experience.
  • Basic Arrhythmia or equivalent within one year of hire (dept tracks).
  • Desired:
    Bachelor of Science in Nursing or related field.
  • Desired:
    Current experience in a Perianesthesia setting.
Licenses & Certifications
  • Minimum:
    Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Current ACLS certification.
  • Current PALS recognition within one year.
  • Desired:
    Certified Peri‑Anesthesia nurse (CPAN) and/or Certified Ambulatory Peri‑Anesthesia (CAPA).
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
  • Demonstrate technical competence, professional clinical judgment, communication skills and sensitivity for the patient and family in crisis.
  • Interact professionally and effectively with physicians, staff, patients and the public.
  • Organize and prioritize work efficiently.
  • Work in a demanding environment while remaining calm, efficient and focused.
  • Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Actively participate in continuing education programs, unit‑based QI task forces and preceptor programs.
  • Function as a preceptor in the training of students and as a department resource and positive role model.
  • Perform the essential functions of the position.
