American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cardiovascular Unit position requiring 2 years of critical care experience and a current CA RN license.
Requirements- Active CA RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of Critical Care experience
- EPIC charting experience required
- Successful completion of prior traveler assignments required
- 30-bed Cardiovascular Unit providing medical, pre-operative, and post-operative surgical care
- Medium to high acuity patient population from young adults through geriatric patients
- Common diagnoses include cardiac conditions, pre/post CABG, carotid endarterectomy, acute MI, post pacemaker insertion, arrhythmia detection, CHF, and pneumonia
- Patient-to-nurse ratio not to exceed 1:4
- 12-hour day shifts starting at 0700
- EPIC EMR used
- May float to other units, including Med/Surg
- Provide nursing care to medium to high acuity cardiovascular patients
- Holiday coverage required
- Float assignments to Med/Surg and other units may be required as needed
