Salary and Compensation

$16.50 - $24.50 per hour. The hourly rate meets or exceeds the local minimum wage. Additional compensation may include annual, quarterly performance or premiums based on schedule, facility, season or specific work performed.

Merchandiser and cashier for O’Reilly Auto Parts sales floor. Greet customers, direct them to product or parts specialist, check out customers, deter shoplifters, maintain front area stocked and fronted, adhere to planograms, complete sales preparation.

• Greet customers and assist in locating merchandise or direct them to parts specialist.
• Check in, price and put up stock.
• Keep merchandise on display floor fronted, full, and clean daily.
• Make display changes according to company guidelines, planograms, etc.
• Make all out-front price changes and ensure all sale signs are in place.
• Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts and overstock returns.
• Work with manager to complete store To Do List and Team Weekly tasks.
• Act as main shoplifting deterrent/front floor security.
• Assist with O’Reilly Image Maker responsibilities.
• Clock in/out according to company policy.
• Check out customers purchasing front floor merchandise in a quick and friendly manner.
• Handle merchandise returns from customers efficiently.
• Assist customers by finishing tickets, taking money, checks, credit cards when express lane is busy.

• Good aptitude for dealing with number sequences.
• Strong interpersonal, communicational and organizational skills.
• Previous cashier and/or stocking experience (desired).
• Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle (desired).
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
