Depending on experience and fit, the position may include clients assigned from an existing book, alongside meaningful new business opportunities. What You'll Do- Advise and write coverage for agribusiness and commercial accounts across Northern California—from farm and ranch operations to ag‑related commercial businesses.
- Provide complex risk guidance by conducting thorough coverage reviews across agribusiness and commercial lines, helping clients make confident, informed decisions.
- Build relationship‑based business and grow a profitable, well‑rounded book with strong long‑term retention across both sectors.
- Partner with carriers to structure solutions that fit real‑world operations—vineyards, orchards, dairies, ranches, and the commercial enterprises that support them.
- Meet clients where they work—in the field, at the operation, or at the business, when it counts.
Depending on your experience and fit, you may combine new business development with clients assigned from an existing book. You will have a genuine, well‑supported path to grow within an agency expanding across the region.

- Active P&C license (required)
- Proven experience advising on and placing commercial insurance (agribusiness experience strongly preferred)
- Strong communication skills and a client‑first, solutions‑focused mindset
- Comfortable with local travel and in‑person client meetings
- AFIS, CIC, CISR designations (or active pursuit)
- Experience with a CRM and organized pipeline management
- Existing ag or community involvement and relationships in Northern California
