Pay

Starting pay range per hour: $22.75 – $24.75. Full pay range: $22.75 – $38.65. Pay varies by labor market, education, experience, and certifications.

• Use surveillance and intelligence‑led tactics to ensure safety for guests and team members while reducing shortage.
• Monitor guests with Target’s video surveillance system and identify potential theft risks.
• Implement Assets Protection practices to prevent and resolve theft, including duty‑to‑safeguard product availability.
• Document all cases accurately and effectively.
• Identify theft trends and collaborate with store leaders and public‑safety officials to mitigate risks.
• Respond to security incidents and submit appropriate documentation in accordance with AP policy.
• Promote a security culture by creating awareness and training team members on safe and secure standards.
• Maintain a positive working relationship with public safety officials and law enforcement.
• Participate in legal proceedings as needed to represent Target’s interests.
• Perform any additional duties required by business needs.

• Greet guests warmly and assist them in finding items or resolving issues.
• Ensure a smooth, easy shopping experience and end each transaction with a thank you.
• Support team efforts with a positive and respectful attitude, handling workload efficiently.

• Minimum age 18 years.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Compliance with state or local licensing and legal requirements.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
• Proficient in communication on multiple frequency devices and handheld scanners.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Can work independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to manage workload, prioritize tasks, and remain composed in a fast‑paced environment.
• Physical capability to climb ladders, lift up to 40 pounds, and work in varying environmental conditions.
• Flexible work schedule with exposure to nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping periods.
• Capacity to remain mobile for entire shift duration.
