Part-time Community Job Coach

The Job Coaching Specialist guides individuals through their professional journeys, providing hands-on support as they learn new tasks and develop crucial workplace relationships. Strong communication, critical thinking, and adaptability are essential as you help others navigate roles in community internships and employment settings.

In this role, you will also serve as a bridge between our organization and community business partners, fostering inclusive practices and ensuring successful employment experiences. You will work to maintain professional boundaries while offering compassionate support to help each person you work with feel respected and empowered to succeed.

Status:
Part-time, up to 25 hours per week. Pay Rate: $19.25 per hour.

• Provide guidance, support, and training to individuals while they perform their duties in their community internship or place of employment.
• Assist with resume writing, job search strategies, interview preparation, and on-the-job training.
• Support individuals with learning and navigating professional boundaries and relationships.
• Support staff team members with job coach training.
• Act as a liaison between community business partners and Mains’l by providing job coaching and inclusive community training.

• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass a background check through the Department of Justice (DOJ).
• Safe and reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Ability to pass a driving record check.
• TB (Tuberculosis) Skin Test.

• Pay Scale:
  Starting rate: $19.25 per hour. Maximum pay rate: $20.50 per hour based on years of experience at Mains’l.
