Administrative & Data Specialist (Temporary – 3-Month Assignment)
Back Annual Giving Specialist. Admin Assistant, Chicopee, Massachusetts. Temp Per Hour Jun 30, 2026 $ 22.00 - $25.00. Full-Time, Onsite in Chicopee Area | $22–25/hour DOE.
A respected mission-driven organization is seeking a highly organized, professional administrative specialist to provide temporary coverage during a three-month leave of absence.
We're looking for someone who is polished, dependable, and confident working in a professional office environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable managing databases and reports, and able to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. Previous fundraising, non-profit, or higher education experience is helpful but not required.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain constituent and donor database records with a high degree of accuracy.
- Generate reports, analyze data, and assist with tracking program activity and results.
- Coordinate multiple projects, timelines, and communications simultaneously.
- Support outreach efforts through mailings, email campaigns, and other communications.
- Assist with planning and coordinating special initiatives and events.
- Help oversee volunteer activities and other engagement programs.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, and other administrative materials.
- Maintain confidential records and ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with internal departments to support organizational goals.
- Provide general administrative support to the team as needed.
- A seasoned administrative professional with excellent organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Experience working extensively with databases and reporting systems.
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Comfortable learning new software and technology; experience with CRM or database systems is highly desirable.
- Professional, polished, and able to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people.
- Able to work independently, prioritize competing deadlines, and exercise sound judgment.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Experience in higher education, nonprofit, fundraising, or donor databases is a plus, but candidates from corporate, healthcare, financial services, or other professional office environments are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to work occasional weekday evenings (2-3 per week) and limited weekend availability for weekend events required.
