Estimator​/Purchasing​/ASR

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Estimator/Purchasing/ASR to join our team in Chicopee, MA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for estimating packaging jobs, managing purchasing activities related to those jobs, and processing orders received from the sales department.

• Prepare accurate estimates for packaging jobs based on project specifications and requirements.
• Coordinate purchasing activities to ensure timely procurement of materials and supplies needed for jobs.
• Process and manage orders received from the sales department, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up.
• Communicate effectively with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth operations.
• Maintain records of estimates, purchase orders, and job status updates.
• Assist in resolving any discrepancies or issues related to orders and purchasing.

• Experience in estimating packaging jobs or related manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of purchasing processes and vendor management.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to process and manage multiple orders efficiently.
• Proficiency with relevant software tools and systems.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
