The Asphalt Workerwillbeperformingtasksinvolvingphysicallaboratparkinglotsandroadwaysbyoperatingoneorseveraltypesofmaintenanceequipment .

• Assistpavingcrewwithvariousduties,primarilyraking,butalsowithsuchdutiesas;shoveling,runningwheelbarrow,andusingothervarioussmalltools.
• Assistcrewmemberswiththejoblayoutbyaccurateplacementofstakesandstrings,paint,chalktomarkperimeterofjobasdirected
• Signaloperatorsofconstructionequipmenttofacilitatealignment,movement,andmaterialswithshovel.
• Assistintheplacement,moving,anddismantlingofsigns,barricades,conesandothertrafficcontroldevices.
• Followdirectionofforemanastodailytasksandexpectationsforeachspecificproject.
• Regularandpredictableattendanceisrequired.
• Participateasateammemberinanenvironmentofsafetyandsuccess.

• Mustbephysicallyabletorepetitivelyliftandcarryatleast
  50lbsonaregularbasis.
• Frequentlyworkwithhandsextendedoverhead,andtheuseofarmsandhandsinrepetitivemotions.
• Maintainconstantalertnesstothemultipleconcurrentactivitiesincludingtheactivitiesofotheremployeesandsubcontractors,theoperationofstationaryandequipmentandthemovementofmobileequipment.
• Mustbeabletooperatetoolsandequipmentsafety
