Project Estimator - Concrete

We're seeking an experienced Concrete Estimator to join a growing construction team in Chicopee, MA. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys estimating a variety of concrete projects while working closely with operations to help deliver successful projects from bid through execution.

The ideal candidate has experience estimating commercial concrete work, understands field operations, and is willing to jump in and support the team wherever needed.

• 3+ years of estimating experience within concrete construction
• Experience with commercial, industrial, municipal, or residential concrete projects
• Strong knowledge of concrete construction methods, sequencing, and production
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Experience using estimating and takeoff software along with Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously
• Field experience as a Superintendent, Project Engineer, or Project Manager is a plus

• Review drawings, specifications, addenda, and bid documents
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for foundations, flatwork, structural slabs, elevated slabs, site concrete, and related scopes
• Prepare accurate, competitive cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted work
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
• Identify scope gaps, project risks, exclusions, and value engineering opportunities
• Prepare bid proposals and support timely bid submissions
• Coordinate project handoffs with operations and field teams
• Assist with preconstruction planning, budgeting, and scheduling
• Provide operational support and assist with project execution when needed
