Position Summary
:
Provide prompt and professional service to new and existing customers by handling day‑to‑day transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and assisting with customer inquiries. The teller will float between Westfield Bank locations and must be available to travel to branch sites in Chicopee (Burnett Road, Center Street, East Street, Memorial Drive) as well as Springfield (Liberty Street).
- Adheres to established Westfield Bank customer service standards.
- Provides information regarding bank products to all potential customers, both retail and commercial.
- Independently performs all teller transactions and related services.
- Maintains security of cash drawer and proves the drawer at the end of each day.
- Meets assigned referral goals by recommending bank products and services to meet customers’ banking needs.
- Assists in resolving customer problems as they arise.
- May assist with balancing the ATM.
- Assists customers with Safe Deposit.
- Completes BSA, AML, and other regulatory and continuing education as assigned.
- Adheres to all bank and regulatory policies and procedures.
- Assumes additional responsibilities as requested.
- Competencies

Accountability, Customer Relations, Decision Making/Judgment, Job Knowledge, Quality.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 6 months of previous cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
- Ability to float between Westfield Bank branches.
