Location: Fairview Elementary School
Purpose: Under the direction of the special education teacher, support specialized instructions in academic, social and motor skills through the delivery and assessment of the Individual Educational Plan (IEP).
Duties:
- Work with individual and small groups of students
- Bring academic, social and motor issues to the attention of the classroom teacher
- Assist in preparation of classroom materials
- Maintain records, attendance and assessments as required by the classroom teacher
- Assist students with activities of daily living, including diapering and toileting needs if necessary
Qualifications:
- Experience or familiarity with special education practices and accommodations
- Knowledge of experiential learning and intensive interventions
Position Type: Temporary
Salary: $20.14 to $32.11 Per Hour
