Position: Out of School Time (OST) Youth Program Manager

Boys & Girls Club of Chicopee in Chicopee, MA is hiring a full‑time Out of School Time (OST) Youth Development Program Manager. Responsibilities

As the OST Youth Development Program Manager you will plan and execute daily youth programs, coordinate staff assignments, oversee activities in arts, technology, physical education, and social recreation, manage special events such as monthly birthday celebrations and Fun Fact Fridays, and implement National Club programs. You will lead hiring and training efforts, ensure staff licenses and background checks, monitor program delivery, address disruptive behavior, conduct staff performance reviews, and measure program outcomes against target goals.

Safety is your top priority; you enforce safety policies, intervene in emergencies, and attend regular training to remain current.

Qualifications
  • 21+ years old
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Associate degree or 3+ years of combined education, training, and experience in a nonprofit organization involved in youth development or secondary education
  • 1+ year of supervised work experience or one practicum, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience working with youth aged 5–18
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Willingness to comply with company policy regarding background checks
Work Schedule

Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM with a one‑hour paid lunch break.
