TITLE: NOON ATTENDANT

REPORTS TO: BUILDING PRINCIPAL

POSITION PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVE: To provide adult supervision of children during the lunch time period. You may be required to work during adverse weather conditions.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Maintain order of students; report any students not following safety or school rules to the building principal.
• Insure the safety and protection of students.
• Report any stranger to the office.
• Report accidents to the office.
• Report any unsafe playground areas and equipment.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

• While performing the duties of this job, the NoonA is required to stand and walk. The employee frequently is required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee occasionally exposed airborne particles and extreme cold. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
• Ability to remain calm in emergency or stressful situations.
• Must have skills for maintaining a positive attitude when working with children.
• Must be able to communicate clearly with children.
• Must have an understanding of school rules pertaining to behavior.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to work Monday through Friday.
• Must be punctual to work.

Position Type: Part-Time

Salary: upto $18.46 Per Hour
