This summer internship offers an opportunity to contribute to innovative building automation solutions with Carrier's Automated Logic business unit. The role combines technical design work with customer-focused applications in intelligent climate and energy systems.
Responsibilities- Design complete building automation systems including controllers and sensors
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation and submittals
- Identify project opportunities and risks related to technical considerations
- Ensure compliance with safety and ethical standards
- Support implementation of energy-efficient control solutions
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
- U.S. citizenship or authorization to work without sponsorship
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
- Physical capability for climbing ladders and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Basic understanding of control logic
- Knowledge of DDC control theory and HVAC applications
- Prior experience in HVAC or building automation
- Technical documentation abilities
