Position: Travel School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Chicopee, Massachusetts

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a school setting located in Chicopee, MA. This position involves providing specialized speech and language services to students, supporting their communication development, and collaborating with educators and families to create effective treatment plans. The role includes travel between schools within the district or region to serve a diverse student population.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to monitor progress and adjust interventions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training.
Qualifications And Experience
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric speech and language disorders.
  • Experience working in educational or school settings preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and travel as required within the service area.
Location
