What are we looking for in our Maintenance Tech Apprentice?
The Engineering Team at Russell Tobin & Associates is supporting a world-class organization that has an opening for “Maintenance Tech Apprentice”
As a Maintenance Tech Apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience in maintaining buildings and industrial systems. This role involves performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing issues, making repairs, and assisting with general facility upkeep. You will work alongside experienced technicians and learn essential maintenance skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including basic HVAC repairs, painting, and patching.
- Escort and assist vendors during their visits to the site.
- Handle general building maintenance and equipment upkeep.
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and report any issues.
- Assist with hanging items and other general facility needs.
- Maintain clear communication and provide excellent customer service.
- Learn and apply maintenance techniques under supervision.
- Education:
High School Diploma required; technical school experience is a plus. - Experience:
No specific time required; looking for candidates with relevant experience and a strong willingness to learn. - Nice to Have:
- Basic knowledge of HVAC/mechanical systems.
- Location:
Chicopee, MA 01022 - Pay Range: $20 - $25 per hour
- Hours:
Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM - Assignment Duration: 5 months (with possibility of extension)
