Manufacturing Associate- 2nd Shift; Conversion

Shift: Monday-Friday 2:30p-11:00p

Assembly contributes to Cardinal Health Manufacturing by managing costs of production and maintenance activities including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment. Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production to assemble component parts into assemblies, sub-assemblies or completed units, following standard operating procedures. May conduct quality inspections on the processing line in accordance with quality specifications.

• Sets up and operates production equipment in accordance with current manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures.
• Measures and records data associated with operating and manufacturing equipment.
• Verifies outputs in the manufacturing process and ensures that quality and quantity standards are met.
• Inspects components for debris or other potential quality defects and reports defects as needed to management and the quality team.
• Performs duties in compliance with all safety rules and regulations required by the Company, Local, and State and Federal provisions.
• Ability to lift, push, pull and move up to 20lbs as needed.

• 1–2 years of experience, preferred.
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred.

• Applies acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks.
• Readily learns and applies new information and methods to work in assigned area.
• Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications.
• Works on routine assignments that require some problem resolution.
• Works within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods.
• Adheres to all quality guidelines.
• Works under moderate degree of supervision.
• Work typically involves regular review of output by work lead or supervisor.
• Refers complex unusual problems to supervisor.
