Die Repairer

Tsubaki Kabelschlepp America, Inc., a leader in high-quality cable carriers and machine protection systems, is seeking a skilled Die Repairer to support our manufacturing operations. In this role you will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain dies and tooling used in production, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime. You will read blueprints, use precision measuring tools, perform adjustments, polishing, and minor machining, and collaborate closely with production teams.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair dies and tooling used in production.
• Perform adjustments, polishing, and minor machining to restore die performance and extend tool life.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications for die repair work.
• Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Perform preventive maintenance on dies to minimize downtime and defects.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to resolve die-related quality or performance issues.
• Document repairs, modifications, and maintenance performed on dies and tooling.
• Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards in the work area.
