CNC Lathe & VTL Machinist

CNC Lathe & VTL Full-Time 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Shift Available Chicopee, MA

• We are looking for a CNC Lathe & VTL Machinist to join our team. The CNC Lathe & VTL Machinist will perform a variety of finish machining practices involved with drilling, threading (tap & thread mill), boring, etc., while maintaining close tolerances on a wide variety of components from various industries. The ideal candidate needs to be fluent with Fanuc Controls.
  
  The candidate must be able to read and interpret drawings, work instructions, read and understand programs, all to ensure compliance with specifications and quality requirements. Must have basic hand & measuring tools, indicators, etc.

• Chicopee, Massachusetts is seeking experienced CNC VTL Machinists.
  
  JOB SUMMARY:
  
  - Candidate will perform a variety of finish machining practices involved with turning, boring, drilling and threading while maintaining close tolerances on a wide variety of components from various industries.
  
  - Candidate needs to be fluent with Fanuc Controls, able to read and interpret drawings, work instructions, read and understand programs, all in order to ensure compliance with specifications and quality requirements.
  
  - Must have basic hand & measuring tools, indicators, etc.

• SPECIAL INFORMATION: ( physical requirements, back ground checks, valid license, on-call schedules, weekend rotations, lifting up to 50 lbs) - This position will be based full time in our Chicopee, MA facility.
  
  -Some evening and weekends depending on company and workload needs.
  
  - Able to read, write, understand and speak English proficiently.
  
  - Authorized to work in the United States.
  
  - Able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test, physical and background check.

• PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  
  - While performing the duties of this position, the employee will be required to stand and walk for significant portions of the shift.
  
  - Ability and willingness to lift objects weighing up to 30 lbs., walk, climb, reach, kneel, crawl and balance.
  
  - Must be able to use hands for assembly and tool usage.
  
  - Must not have allergies or issues related to handling metals including aluminum, copper, bronze and steel.

• EDUCATION:
  
  - High School/GED - Completion of a relevant technical or vocational program or equivalent experience.

• WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  
  - While performing the duties of this position, the employee will be regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts in a machine-shop environment. RMS-Turbo Care offers competitive compensation and benefit package.
