Sales Associate / Management Trainee
The Sales Associate / Management Trainee position is responsible for all sales activities from start to close. The role focuses on communicating with customers, providing information about product benefits, and ensuring a positive in-store experience. You are the customer’s point of contact and the face of the company, with the goal of creating and maintaining long-term relationships to achieve sales goals and encourage recurring business.
Responsibilities- Sell products and services and assist customers with their product needs
- Provide an exemplary customer experience by asking questions to determine needs and applying product knowledge
- Utilize suggestive selling and recommend additional items and/or services that complement the customer’s vehicle or driving experience
- Elevate company standards, achieve sales goals, and meet customer expectations
- Provide excellent customer service with effective communication, enthusiasm, friendliness, and energy
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge and discuss available options with customers
- Keep assigned areas in-stock and presentable
- Work with colleagues to ensure proper customer service
- Greet customers with a positive demeanor
- Stock merchandise, move stock, and retrieve merchandise from store shelves
- Maintain a neat and clean work environment
- Work independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision
- Organize and prioritize tasks with strong attention to detail
- Participate in periodic team meetings
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
- Customer service focus
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Maintain a presentable and well-dressed appearance
- Ability to assess customer needs and provide product information
- Ability to multi-task while remaining attentive to customers
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to participate in training and ongoing product knowledge development
Pay ranges may vary based on specific location. Pay Details: $49,000.00 - $63,000.00;
