Auto Care Center Coach

Position Summary

Drives sales and financial performance in the Auto Care Center and service area by receiving and stocking merchandise, ensuring effective presentation, accurate competitive pricing, proper signage and inventory levels, budgeting and forecasting sales. Assesses economic trends and community needs to achieve sales and profit goals, and implements plans to correct deficiencies. Provides customer service and assistance by acknowledging the customer, identifying customer needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues and concerns, promoting products and services while maintaining a safe shopping environment.

Creates and processes customer requests and service orders in accordance with company policies and procedures. Explains Auto Care Center and automotive products and services, ensuring technicians are trained and certified on service procedures, staging customer vehicles, and assisting with workflow as necessary. Maintains the Auto Care Center and automotive sales floor and service area by stocking, rotating, and merchandising, removing damaged or outdated goods, setting up cleaning and organizing displays, signing and pricing merchandise, securing fragile and high‑shrink items, maintaining equipment, handling claims and returns, zoning area, ordering and organizing supplies, and monitoring environmental disposal (e.g., batteries, tires, oil) and OSHA compliance to ensure safety and satisfaction.

Coordinates and oversees job‑related activities and assignments, developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to support plans and initiatives that meet customer and business needs. Builds accountability and measures progress in achieving results, identifies improvement opportunities, and demonstrates adaptability and promotes continuous learning. Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset.

Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures, supports mission, values, and ethics, and implements action plans using the Open Door Policy.

The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 – $. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:
