• Conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols throughout campus.
• Monitor campus activity and respond to safety concerns, suspicious behavior, and emergencies.
• Enforce campus policies, procedures, and security regulations fairly and professionally.
• Perform security inspections of buildings, grounds, and facilities.
• Assist staff with conflict resolution and respond to disturbances when necessary.
• Conduct preliminary investigations and document incidents accurately.
• Control parking and traffic flow on campus.
• Enforce student pass and visitor access procedures.
• Provide escort services for students, staff, and visitors as needed.
• Build positive relationships with students while promoting a safe and respectful campus culture.
• Respond calmly and effectively during emergencies and critical incidents.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support campus operations.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Six (6) months of experience in security, law enforcement, military, corrections, public safety, or a related field preferred.
• Knowledge of security procedures, emergency response, and crowd management.
• Experience working in an educational or residential setting is a plus.

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required.
• Ability to obtain a Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger Endorsement within three (3) months of hire.
• Water Safety Certification required or the ability to obtain certification as required.

Stand and walk for extended periods. Patrol indoor and outdoor areas in varying weather conditions. Bend, kneel, stoop, and reach as needed. Lift and carry light objects. Operate computers, radios, and other communication equipment. Respond quickly to emergencies and physically intervene when necessary to maintain a safe environment.
