- Measure, cut, and install various types of gutters, downspouts, and related components according to project specifications and blueprints.
- Use hand tools and power tools such as drills, saws, levels, and caulking guns to ensure precise installation.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and construction drawings to accurately execute projects.
- Prepare work sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding or ladders safely, and ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining quality standards.
- Conduct inspections of installed systems for proper alignment, sealing, and functionality.
- Assist in the fabrication of custom gutter sections or brackets when necessary using fabrication tools.
- Proven experience with construction site work, roofing, or related trades such as carpentry or masonry is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating processes.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely when required for site preparation or material handling.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools including saws, drills, caulking guns, and measuring devices.
- Knowledge of construction safety practices and ability to work at heights on ladders or scaffolding.
- Experience with other trades such as plumbing or electrical work is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
