Socket Fiber is expanding fast, and we’re building the next generation of sales leaders. In this role, you’ll work face-to-face with small and medium-sized businesses, introducing them to our fiber-powered internet and communications solutions. This is a field-based role in the Kirksville/Moberly/Chillicothe, Missouri market with daily 8 AM virtual meetings followed by territory work during business hours.
Responsibilities- Own your local territory by generating leads through door-to-door prospecting, networking, and consistent follow-up with small and mid-sized businesses.
- Introduce decision-makers to the value of Socket Fiber’s business services.
- Assess customer needs and deliver tailored solutions using Socket’s full suite of business products (Broadband/Dedicated Internet, Voice Services, Cloud-Based Phone Systems UCaaS).
- Meet or exceed monthly sales goals and key performance benchmarks.
- Manage your pipeline in Salesforce and follow up regularly to close opportunities.
- Engage in daily sales calls, team check-ins, training sessions, and development opportunities.
- Represent Socket Fiber with professionalism and integrity in your market.
- Work efficiently in the field; mileage is paid.
- Pitch in as needed and be ready to take on additional duties that help the team grow.

- High school diploma or GED
- Prior sales experience (especially door-to-door or in-person)
- Experience in customer service or a client-facing role
- Knowledge of telecommunications services (internet, wireless, phone systems)

RequirementsWhat We’re Looking For:
To be considered for this role, you’ll need the following required qualifications:
- Current and valid driver’s license with no restrictions
- Ability to travel daily within your assigned local market (30-90 minute radius)
- Physical ability to walk and be on your feet for long periods
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather
- Comfort navigating rejection in a performance-driven, commission-heavy role
- Availability for an 8 AM daily virtual team meeting
