Automotive Multipurpose Clerk (Chillicothe, OH):

Nourse Chillicothe Automall is seeking a Full-Time Mulitpurpose Title Clerk for our administrative office! The right candidate will possess strong experience and abilities in automotive titling and accounting and related activities. The position requires a detail-oriented person who thrives in a fast paced environment. The individual in this role must be a team player who is willing to support the other personnel to optimize efficiency.

• Full-time hours, Monday-Friday 8:00A.M.

• Collect titles on all preowned vehicles and follow up with lien-holders for receipt of titles timely after payoff
• Apply for duplicate titles and out of state titles as needed
• Review all trade title work to insure we have the ability to transfer the title work on all used car units
• Prepare checks for tax & title fees on out of state title work
• Prepare checks related to customer refunds on over-payment of tax and title
• Handle phone calls regarding titling from customers and lien-holders
• Maintain and update notes on various schedules as related to titling
• Comply with federal, state and local law as we as company policy about safeguarding all information
• Other duties as assigned

• Must be insurable and possess a valid Driver’s License
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Automotive experience preferred
• Dealer trade experience preferred
• Must have knowledge and experience with general ledgers and debits and credits
• Must have knowledge of accounting schedules and procedures
• Knowledge of end-of-month procedures
• Must be process-driven
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
• Experience answering multi-line telephones
• Must be multi-faceted in order to fill in other positions when needed
• Must have a professional appearance and work ethic
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
