The Grant Writer & Coordinator plays a key role in developing compelling proposals that help advance Adena Health’s strategic priorities and community health initiatives. This position supports the full lifecycle of grant development - from identifying and vetting opportunities, to writing and submitting proposals, to coordinating post-award reporting. The ideal candidate is a strong writer with a sharp eye for alignment, who understands how to frame programs and data in a persuasive, funder-ready way.
Reporting to the Manager of Sponsored Programs, the Grant Writer & Coordinator collaborates with team members across departments to source content, shape project ideas into fundable concepts, and support internal coordination with finance, program staff, and external partners.
Associates Degree
Major/Area of Concentration:Preferred Education
Bachelor’s Degree in English, Communications, Public Health, Non Profit Management or related field
Required Certifications, Credentials and LicensesDe-escalation training within 6 months.
Preferred Certifications, Credentials and LicensesCertified Grants Professional (GPC)
Required Experience:
Associates Degree with 3-5 years relative experience
Bachelor’s Degree with 2-4 years relative experience
