Radiation Oncologist

Overview

Adena Cancer Center is seeking a full-time Radiation Oncologist to join a collaborative, patient-centered oncology program in Chillicothe, Ohio. Our center treats a broad spectrum of malignancies in a multidisciplinary environment, supported by modern technology and a highly experienced clinical team.

Radiation therapy is delivered on two recently upgraded Varian True Beam linear accelerators, allowing for advanced techniques and efficient workflows. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician seeking a high-quality clinical practice with strong support, modern infrastructure, and work-life balance.

• 4.5-day clinical workweek
• Generous base salary with additional wRVU productivity income

• Approximately 40–50 total treatment volumes per day
• Physicians average 14–18 patients per clinic day
• Two matched Varian True Beam linear accelerators
• SGRT using Varian Identify and Brain Lab Dynamic Exactrac
• DIBH and respiratory gated radiotherapy
• Eclipse treatment planning with Radformation Autocontour and Ez Fluence
• Integrated EPIC and Aria EMRs

• High-volume disease sites include lung, breast, prostate, and head & neck
• Clinical trial participation through NCORP
• Commission on Cancer–accredited program

• 2 Radiation Oncologists
• Radiation Nurse Practitioner
• Dedicated Dosimetrists and Medical Physicists
• 5 Medical Oncologists
• Robust ancillary support: nurse navigation, social work, dietary services, financial counseling, and on-site chaplain
• On-site chemotherapy infusion services
