EXAM: The City of Chillicothe HR Department will contact applicants with testing dates and information for the National Testing Network exam.

AGILITY TEST: Physical Agility Test will be administered at a later date. Candidates with a current OPOTA certification will not be required to take the physical fitness test.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum age of 21 at the time of hiring
• Obtain Basic Peace Officer certificate within one year of hire
• Be insurable under the City’s insurance policy
• Successful completion of police and BCI/FBI background check, extensive physical examination, and psychological examination
