LPN Clinic or Cert-Reg Medical Assistant (100% Full Time, Days) – Cardiovascular at Adena Health System.

Join to apply for the LPN Clinic or Cert-Reg Medical Assistant role. The position supports cardiovascular care within Adena Health System and reports to the practice manager or designee.

• Provide professional care through clinical skills and processes to assigned patients.
• Collaborate with the care team to achieve optimal patient care.
• Enter information into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) or Chart as directed by a physician or licensed independent practitioner (if working in a Scribe role).
• Safely handle confidential patient information and comply with applicable policies and procedures.
• Perform duties under the direct supervision of the physician or clinic leadership as appropriate to role.

• Required Educational Degree:
  Successful completion of a Medical Assistant Program or LPN, RN with current Ohio license.
• Major/Area of Concentration:
  Medical Assisting;
  Nursing, LPN, RN.
• Certifications, Credentials & Licenses:
  Registered through American Allied Health (AAH), American Medical Technologists (AMT), or Certified through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA). BLS – Basic Life Support. Successful Adena skills assessment and annual written test.
• Experience:
  
  1-2 years in a medical office or similar capacity. Medical office experience preferred. If acting in a Scribe role, 1-2 years in a similar capacity.
