** Exciting Opportunity for a Radiation Therapist II!** - Perform advanced radiation therapy procedures, including SBRT, SRS, and complex CT simulations - Analyze imaging to resolve setup variances and ensure precision in patient care - Support training for students and new staff, fostering a collaborative learning environment - Participate in daily equipment QA to maintain high standards of service - Coordinate service needs and assist in developing departmental competencies, techniques, and policies - Lead safety and quality improvement initiatives, staying at the forefront of emerging technologies - Engage in incident learning and peer review to enhance departmental practices - Manage charge reconciliation when needed to ensure accurate billing and reporting*
* Qualifications:
** - Meets all requirements for Radiation Therapist I - Minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience in radiation therapy - Demonstrated competency in CT Simulation and SRS/SBRT delivery (Brainlab preferred) - Completion of the Radiation Therapist II Competency Advancement Checklist - Minimum 1-2 years of travel experience - EMR experience required: EPIC/ARIA - Active ARRT R,(T) license and state license
