Dietary Aide

We are seeking a dependable and caring Dietary Aide to join our dietary services team at our Ohio nursing home. This role is essential in helping provide nutritious meals and a welcoming dining experience for our residents. • Assist in preparing and serving meals according to menus and resident diet orders

• Deliver trays to resident rooms and assist with meal service in the dining area

• Follow special dietary requirements (mechanical soft, pureed, diabetic diets, etc.)

• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas

• Store food and supplies properly following safety guidelines

• Assist with inventory and stocking supplies

• Follow all Ohio Department of Health and facility food safety regulations

• Work cooperatively with dietary manager, nursing staff, and other team members

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Previous food service experience helpful but not required

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

• Friendly, patient, and compassionate attitude toward elderly residents

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs

• Must pass background check and drug screening
