Description:

This position works under clinical supervision.
It requires considerable knowledge of behavioral healthcare programs and techniques.
The provider will be a member of a sex offender team.
Responsibilities include sex offender interventions for a caseload of assigned offenders.
The provider will complete screenings and assessments.
Conducting group and sex offender interventions as prescribed on the individual in-program assessment using evidence-based correctional program intervention strategies is required.
Documentation in electronic health records of all inmate encounters and contacts must be entered.
Necessary reports and data documents must be maintained to satisfy requirements of federal, state, and local agencies.
Miscellaneous forms and reports should be completed as needed per policy and protocol.
Transfer and discharge summaries must also be completed.
The provider will consult with other staff regarding the sex offender caseload and inmates' institutional adjustment and service needs.
Attendance at meetings regarding sex offender program supervision is required.
The provider must participate in in-service training and workshops for professional development.
