Position Overview

Join our team at Westmoreland Place! Westmoreland Place is seeking a Housekeeping aide. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a friendly atmosphere at a leading Skilled Nursing Facility. Our hours are 08:00am to 04:30pm, weekends included.

• Clean/polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling units in resident rooms and recreational areas daily as instructed.
• Clean, wash, and sanitize bathrooms in resident rooms and recreation areas daily.
• Clean floors, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting.
• Clean walls and ceilings by washing, wiping, dusting, spot cleaning, disinfecting, and deodorizing.
• Discard waste/trash into proper containers and reline trash receptacles with plastic liners.
• Clean vacant rooms as assigned.
• Ensure that work/assignment areas are clean and that equipment, tools, supplies, etc., are properly stored at all times, including before leaving for breaks, meals, and at end of work day.
• Perform isolation cleaning procedures in accordance with established infection control procedures.
• Work in all areas of the facility and interact with residents, personnel, visitors, government agencies, etc. Must function independently and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents and personnel.

• All candidates are subject to a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
