Chief Medical Officer / Medical Director, Healthcare Management

This position is located in the Specialty Care service of the Chillicothe VA Medical Center.
Key ResponsibilitiesDuties include, but are not limited to:
Advances skill and experience diagnosing and managing complex musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions. Demonstrates ability to integrate effectively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team. Demonstrates written and verbal communication skills, including communicating care plans and collaborating across disciplines. Develops treatment plans tailored to patient goals with a focus on whole-person care and shared decision-making.
Demonstrates experience in non-pharmacologic pain management strategies. Integrates research evidence into chiropractic care and participating in quality improvement initiatives. Demonstrates proficiency with electronic health record systems and telehealth/virtual care platforms if relevant.

Education:
Degree of doctor of chiropractic, or its equivalent, resulting from a course of education in chiropractic. The degree must have been obtained from one of the schools or colleges approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs for the year in which the course of study was completed.
Approved schools are: (1) United States schools or colleges of chiropractic listed as accredited by the Council on Chiropractic Education, at http://(Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). or equivalent agency, in the list published for the year in which the course of study was completed.
(2) Schools (including foreign schools) accepted by the licensing body of a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States (i.e., Puerto Rico), or in the District of Columbia as qualifying for full or unrestricted licensure.
