Integrated Services for Behavioral Health (ISBH) is a community-minded, forward-thinking behavioral health organization helping people along the road to health and well-being. We meet people in their homes and communities and help connect them to the resources. We serve Southeast and Central Ohio with a comprehensive array of behavioral health and other services, working with local partners to promote healthy people and strong communities.

As a Community Behavioral Health Worker / Vocational Specialist on the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team, you will support individuals with serious mental illness in achieving recovery goals through meaningful employment. This position is essential to helping people explore, obtain, and maintain competitive, integrated employment as part of a multidisciplinary team. The role adheres to the Dartmouth Assertive Community Treatment Scale (DACTS) fidelity standards, with a strong emphasis on community-based, person-centered vocational support.
The pay range for this position is $19.00 to $22.26 an hour based on experience, education, and/or licensure.
Essential Functions:Assist individuals in exploring their interests and goals related to work, education, and meaningful daily roles.
Provide individual vocational assessments, job development, benefits counseling, job coaching, and ongoing follow-along supports.
Cultivate relationships with local employers and community partners to identify job opportunities aligned with individual strengths and preferences.
Educate clients on how employment affects benefits (SSI/SSDI, Medicaid, etc.) using evidence-based tools.
Provide behavioral health and case management services in homes, workplaces, and community settings.
Serve a shared caseload as a full member of the ACT team; participate in daily team meetings and treatment planning.
Document all services accurately and promptly in accordance with agency standards and Medicaid billing guidelines.
Meet productivity and fidelity requirements as defined by ISBH and DACTS.
Participate in cross-training, utilization review, and quality improvement initiatives.
Support program expansion into surrounding counties (e.g., Scioto, Lawrence) as needed.
Assesses or defines the strengths and needs of referred people, families, and communities.
Directly provides home and community behavioral health services that are practical, helpful, and collaborative.
Meets people wherever they may be with support for self-management of health and well-being.
Carries out utilization review and quality assurance activities as directed.
Maintains necessary documentation, participates in program evaluation, attends team and program planning meetings, and cross-systems training, and acquires knowledge of community resources.

Education:A high School diploma or GED equivalent is required
Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health-related field is preferred
Experience:Minimum of three years of relevant experience (e.g., behavioral health, employment services, vocational rehabilitation).
Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation is required for community-based work.
Demonstrated commitment to recovery principles and cultural humility.
Knowledge of local community service systems and employer networks.
Comfortable working in an Internet-based, mobile office environment.
