Job DetailsCompensation: Competitive hourly pay of $15 per hour. Basis for compensation depends on job‑related skills, experience, education, and location.
Work Schedule: Flexible shift times, both AM and PM.
Benefits: Eligible employees may enroll in accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity, and telemedicine insurance. Qualified employees may also enroll in the company’s 401(k) retirement plan. Eligibility is based on job classification, length of employment, and hours worked. Seasonal and temporary roles are not eligible for the benefits above.
Job SummaryThe Guest Service Associate delivers exceptional hospitality services to guests, maintaining a pleasant and professional demeanor while managing vehicle parking, luggage assistance, and guest inquiries. The role includes greeting guests, handling vehicle logistics, providing directional assistance, and ensuring compliance with parking rates and claim check procedures.
Essential Functions- Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with guests, co‑workers, and clients; acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names.
- Use appropriate salutations and welcome guests; practice proper phone etiquette.
- Park and retrieve vehicles with caution, assist with bell services and luggage storage, and open vehicle and hotel doors as needed.
- Assist guests with directions, transportation reservations, and general inquiries; provide information on facility amenity points and local attractions; deliver messages or items upon request; shuttle guests to approved locations.
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures; issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys; maintain accurate ticket information, including key tags, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey, and claim check receipt.
- Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when required.
- Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Licensure: Valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within a commutable distance.
- Experience: Minimum one month of related experience or training, or equivalent education/experience.
- Knowledge: Understanding of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
- Skills:
- Read and write standard English; read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
- Write simple correspondence.
- Present information effectively in one‑on‑one and small group settings.
- Basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) with up to two‑digit numbers and currency units.
- Understand 24‑hour and military time systems; understand applicable rates.
- Operate a manual transmission vehicle; perform parallel parking.
The position requires regularly talking or hearing, extended standing or sitting, occasional running or walking, handling objects up to 100 pounds, reaching, climbing stairs, and working outdoors in varied weather conditions.
