The Staff Nurse, RN provides professional nursing care through the application of nursing skills and processes to develop, implement, and evaluate patient’s plan of care. The RN is the primary caregiver, providing direct patient care and working collaboratively with the care team, physicians, and patients/families to achieve optimal outcomes. The RN has access to confidential patient information, makes independent decisions, and works under direct supervision of the Nurse Manager and indirect supervision of the Director of Nursing.
