Are you passionate about delivering exceptional cardiovascular care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment? Adena Health System is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner) to join our expanding Inpatient Cardiology team in Chillicothe, Ohio.

About the Team

Our Collaborative Cardiology Team Currently Includes

• 3 Non-Invasive Cardiologists
• 3 Interventional Cardiologists (expanding to
  6)
• 1 Electrophysiologist
• 1 Cardiothoracic Surgeon
• 4 Inpatient Nurse Practitioners
• 5 Outpatient Nurse Practitioners (cross-trained to assist inpatient when needed)

As our cardiovascular services continue to expand, you ll work alongside experienced physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and support staff dedicated to providing outstanding patient care.

Position Summary

This is a 100% inpatient position providing comprehensive cardiovascular care to hospitalized patients.

Responsibilities Include

• Performing inpatient cardiology consultations
• Conducting subsequent patient visits
• Participating in daily physician rounds
• Collaborating with cardiologists to develop and implement treatment plans
• Managing patient care independently while working closely with the physician team
• Delivering compassionate, evidence-based care in a fast-paced environment

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Rotating weekend coverage approximately every couple of months
• Flex day provided during the week following weekend coverage

Qualifications

Preferred Candidates Will Have

• Nurse Practitioner experience within a health system setting
• Previous experience in:
• Cardiology
• Critical Care
• Cardiac Catheterization Lab
• Emergency Department
• Hospital Medicine

New graduates are encouraged to apply if they possess a strong nursing background in cardiology or other relevant acute care specialties.

Comprehensive Onboarding

New providers participate in a structured 90-day onboarding program led by the Inpatient NP Lead, including:

• Individual mentorship
• Rotational training with experienced inpatient APPs
• Progressive clinical independence
• Collaborative physician support
