Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

$2252.16/week -

Job Summary:

Providing specialized nursing care in a Level 2 Labor and Delivery unit for patients 32 weeks and above. The role involves managing labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery in collaboration with physicians and midwives, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Triage and assess patients upon admission to determine their clinical status
• Circulate during cesarean sections, assisting physicians and ensuring sterile procedures
• Monitor and manage labor progression, providing support and interventions as needed
• Facilitate patient recovery post vaginal and cesarean deliveries, including vital sign management and patient education
• Document clinical care accurately in the electronic medical record system
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications:

• Maintain active and current RN licensure
• Hold certifications in NRP, BLS, and ACLS
• Demonstrate at least 5 years of labor and delivery nursing experience
• Possess strong triage, assessment, and patient management skills
• Have previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system preferred
