American Traveler is hiring a Mother Infant RN for a night shift contract requiring 2+ years of postpartum nursing experience and Epic proficiency.
Requirements- Active OH or Compact RN license required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mother Infant nurse required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Proficient in IV skills, blood draws, and foley insertion/management/removal
- Care for postpartum couplets, postpartum patients, gynecological surgery patients, and low-risk antepartum patients
- Newborn care includes assessments, blood draws, 24-hour testing, hearing screening, glucose management, and Eat, Sleep, Console assessments
- Uses Epic EMR
- Night shift, 3x12s, 7:00 PM-7:30 AM
- Weekend rotation required at least every 3rd weekend
- Holiday coverage required as assigned
- No call requirements
- Perform maternal and newborn assessments, monitoring, and related nursing care
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the facility
- 13-week contract assignment
