Retail District Manager

Dollar General seeks a Retail District Manager in Chillicothe, OH to lead multi-store operations for a technology-forward retailer. In this role, you will oversee store performance, drive sales growth, and champion an exceptional customer experience across the district. You will coach and develop store leaders, leverage data and retail systems to optimize operations, and ensure consistent execution of company standards. Collaborating in a fast-paced, innovative culture, you will manage KPIs, inventory, and compliance while fostering inclusive, high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-store retail operations within assigned district to achieve sales, profit, and customer experience goals
• Coach, mentor, and evaluate store managers; build strong, high-performing teams
• Analyze financial reports and KPIs to drive performance improvements and cost control
• Implement company initiatives, merchandising standards, and operational best practices
• Ensure accurate execution of inventory management, cash handling, and loss prevention programs
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including IT, to support retail technology tools and data-driven decision-making
• Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations
• Drive continuous improvement, leveraging data and technology to optimize store efficiency and customer satisfaction
