Job Overview
Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is North America's largest Kenworth truck dealership group and leasing group. As MHC continues to grow, we have an opening for a Installation Specialist - Manufacturing. The Installation Specialist - Manufacturing performs more advanced installations at the Road Ready Center as defined by your Training and Development Plan.
- Performs PDI's & installations including PTO's, Pumps, Hoses, Wiring and Misc. sub-assemblies.
- Ability to install electronics such as Cameras, Controllers, Back-up alarms & Misc lighting options.
- Assists other Installation Specialists as necessary.
- Attends training sessions to gain knowledge and experience.
- Maintains a neat and orderly work area and properly handles company tools.
- Performs all work in a safe and orderly manner while following the safety rules and wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.
- Performs other duties as assigned by a supervisor.

- Necessary tools to perform position responsibilities.
- DOT Annual Inspectors Certification.
- Valid CDL and Medical Card is preferred.
- Must have good customer relations and communication skills.
- Ability to work well with co-workers. Standing over 50% of time to perform work and complete paperwork.
- Lift and carry 75 pounds of parts, tools, supplies and various equipment. Maximum lift of 105 pounds of parts, tools, or equipment.
- Push/pull wrenches to tighten and loosen bolts, vices, tool chests, platforms up to 75 pounds.
- Kneel, squat and stoop 1/3 of the time to obtain positions to perform work on vehicles.
- Climb up and down stairs and platforms 1/3 of the time to perform work on vehicles.
- Reach below knees to pick up parts, tools, equipment, supplies, reach items to install, using tools and lowering parts to the floor.
